Looking back at 2020

For The 4 Habits family,  2020 has been an exciting albeit challenging year. Most of you will know that we have been busy getting our newly registered charity off the ground – Soulmates Academy Foundation. Our ambitious vision is to equip 1 million people over the next 10 years to do relationships well, without the cost typically associated with personal and professional development.

But not only that, we had a busy year providing relationship support in lots of other ways too…

  • Covid-19 Response – Early in 2020, we created and delivered free webinars and youtube videos to support people through lockdown and ran social media advertising campaigns to raise awareness so people could benefit – with great engagement and feedback. It is clear that people want to talk about getting better at relationships for home, work, and life.
  • Support for the New Normal – We recently went live with our free automated, “on-demand” webinar to help people address the current lockdown challenges of Getting Through Relationship Strain While Working From Home.  At the end of the webinar, participants are introduced to an online, video-based Six-module course we have just created to equip people with the four fundamental habits for great relationships (expanding on the TEDx talk which now has over 1.75million views and still climbing).
  • Churches-In the summer, we also ran a series of equipping webinars for The St Albans Vineyard church, recordings of which are now offered on their website as support/help on demand.  As a follow-up, we are currently in the process of developing a six-module course as a small group resource to help the church get better at relationships between couples, among families, and with each other in the community.  Here is a 2 min video giving an overview of this course called “That They May Be One” (based on John 17: 21).
  • Other Community groups – Thereafter, we plan to customise the material for use in local authorities, family hubs, and other community centers both in terms of equipping individuals and equipping staff who work with individuals in these environments and also in schools, colleges and universities.

As you can see, lots has happened and there’s plenty more to look forward to as we move to the next step along the Soulmates Academy Foundation journey.

Thanks for your continued support along the way.

Best wishes,

Jon & Andrea
